Dominik joins from Wayve, where he led automotive delivery for end-to-end machine learning systems, helping move ML development from rapid prototyping into predictable, production-grade delivery. Prior to Wayve, he held senior engineering leadership roles at Mercedes-Benz and Luminar Technologies, working at the intersection of perception, simulation, and large-scale industrial deployment.
At Emmi AI, Dominik will lead the engineering organization as the company scales its technology and delivery capabilities with enterprise customers and simulation software partners.
“With its unmatched talent and technology, I can’t think of a team better situated to lead into a new era of product development, where engineers receive near-instantaneous simulation results for their design ideas. Not in the far future, but today.” Dominik Nuss said about joining Emmi AI.
“We are delighted to bring Dominik in our leadership team at a critical point of our journey. He brings the rare combination of deep technical expertise and execution discipline, combined with the understanding of how to effectively scale an organisation.” said Dennis Just, CEO and Co-Founder of Emmi AI. “That combination is the essence of creating a category leader while staying efficient and humble as an organization.”
Dominik will be based in Munich and work closely with Emmi AI’s teams across Europe, including regular in-person collaboration from the company’s headquarters in Linz.
